This just show’s you that there ARE good people out there in this world. Me and my girlfriend went out for supper tonight. We both ordered our meals. She got a drink, and we both got a pop. The place is pretty full and clearing out because it’s getting late and the table in front of me gets up and leaves while we were waiting for our food to arrive. So we get our food and eat and the waiter comes over and brings us our to-go boxes, and he says, “OK guys, I have a question. Do you know the people who were sitting in front of you?” I reply “No? Why?” Thinking he was playing a trick on us saying that they put their food on our tab or something, and he said “What, really? They paid for your dinner, but asked me not to make a big deal of it.” I’m not too sure if I know this stranger or not. Regardless they paid for our supper in full and WHOEVER YOU ARE I would like to thank you for the extremely kind gesture as it’s amazing to think that there are still people out there that are this nice! The lesson I learned today is if you feel you can do something nice for somebody you don’t even know, you should do it… cause it absolutely makes all the difference! —Overly Grateful
