THROW ME A BONE HERE, CITY. I need to put my car somewhere. If there IS snow removal happening in the near vicinity then I know NOT to park there. HOWEVER if there is NO SNOW REMOVAL IN THE NEAR VICINITY do not give me a $50 ticket. That is fucking ridiculous. We are not all made of money. I, nor ANY OF THE CARS ON THAT STREET, were in the way of ANY snow removal. I was supportive of your snow removal efforts, city, but you dun gone stabbed me in the back. —Pissed Ticket Payer

Hmmm! I was just thinking that the city’s metered parking revenue (and metered parking fine revenue) must be way down with all of the meters that were and still are inaccessible. I didn’t see the parking enforcement folks around for a whole month.
I believe the announcement was if there is 3 metres (or something like that) clearance, parking is a go in legal spots again. If not, it’s still the full ban.
And watch out for sneaky ‘temporary no parking’ signs that they put up.
Walk? Cycle? Bus? Car parks? Parking garages? Feed your meter? Pray (I didn’t hear you)?
So many options.
If you were supportive, you wouldn’t have parked on the street when the ban was in effect.
Get a horse.
