I wonder what is the point of the city setting a no parking ban ALL winter long. It is stupid for people to pay for parking when it is not snowing but when a damn storm is coming or has arrived why are there not any tow trucks out towing the assholes tha

The parking ban is obviously a money grab and that is all. We know because we’re going to need to plow the city streets maybe 10 different days over the 6 month ban. This is simply unreasonable logic and they shouldn’t expect a university town to buy it. We know the parking ban is a money grab given the actions of parking patrol. Not a single flake of snow anywhere and, Merry Fucking Christmas, you got a ticket if you didn’t move your car Christmas Eve (sorry for your luck families from out of town who didn’t think to purchase an additional parking space before visiting loved ones the wretched HRM). But the HRM sure likes to party, parking patrol included. They couldn’t give a rats ass about the spirit of Christmas as evident by the willy-nilly handing out of parking tickets but give them a few over New Years Eve and let the fucking snow keep coming. No plowing until the sun is nice and high (and parking ban over for the day) and, of course, no tickets. Just dumb fucks leaving their cars wherever during a snow storm but no ticket for you… too much snow to go out or too hung over to actually do the job, you decide but realize it’s total crap.
