This is for the stupid yellow tiny ass car taking up multiple spots around the downtown area. The transit strike has left the parking situation very bleak. I’ve never had an issue before mainly because I get downtown at apprx. 7:45am and park in the same area all the time. Since the strike I’ve had to leave earlier and that’s ok, I just have to make that extra effort. However, you don’t even understand the fury I was overcome with this morning after your little yellow VW jelly bean of a car was blocking up two perfectly usable, sizeable spots because you chose to park in the middle of a side street. I know that “you’re entitled to do whatever you want to do blah blah blah” and technically you haven’t broken any rules but gosh it’s just irritating when I make the effort to park properly knowing that others will use the spots, especially now. Or is to too entitled of me to hope that people can park properly? —Ugh

it must be wilson or one of his cronies. doing that just to piss you off there.
and by the way o.p., some smaller cars push very easily if you give them a nudge with your bumper.
There are some dimwits around this city who don’t like people to touch their car so they double park to avoid contact with others. It is quite ignorant really. And selfish.
I was thinking about write this bitch but you beat me to it,”Ugh”. I have noticed this inability of people to properly and considerately park their cars just about every day I am looking for a street parking spot. It sucks to see a place where an extra car could have fit just fine if the other three vehicles already there were better situated. We are all in the same boat with the damned transit strike – a little cooperation and consideration for our fellow commuters should be a given. Okay, maybe not, but it’s nice to think it could be.
good parallel parking, is an art form, chickpeasis
aint that the truth PG, I still haven’t QUITE mastered it, but I’m pretty good.
once you can do it, on a hill, with a standard, you’ve mastered it!!!
How ’bout those people who are timid parallel parkers and try and try and fucking try for 10 minutes before deciding to abort the whole mission? I want to throw a Molotov Cocktail at those fuckers.
Parallel parking I’ve pretty much got down pat. Now I just have to work on my ‘Rockford’.

Love Mr. Jim Garner – especially after his recent confession that he’s been a life-long lover of the herb. No wonder he was so mellow, Avastie.
I parallel parked once in my Young Drivers course and never have since. It’s useless, same with backing into a parking spot :P. I also only did that once for my road test and never have since. I’d rather park really far away from my destination and walk than have to deal with all of these parking dances. My pa’s SUV parallel parks itself, I could totally do it then!
For me parallel parking depends on the car I’m in. In one I can parallel park while painting my nails, drinking a coffee and reading the newspaper cause the dimensions are familiar. Others I’m just all derp-ish …
here ya go mel, it folds up too http://www.spxdaily.com/images-lg/hiriko-e…
OP is making an assumption to support his own inconvenience.
No one knows if the car simply pulled in behind a compact car which later left.
If the space in front if the VW or behind it is not enough to fit another car then they couldn’t have parked behind someone. However, if they pulled up properly it could fit multiple cars. I see this all too often. People are tools GV.
GV…good point.
Its also something I have observed more than once in Halisux, but when someone deliberately straddles a line in a parking lot so they’ve effectively blocked 2 spaces, & the next space is available I make sure I park so damn close to the drivers door you couldn’t get it opened enough to get a sheet of paper in there. Seeing as I drive a work truck with a rack & lots of dings & scapes, my paintjobs not a concern ~;p
I know sometimes I don’t like to park too close to the car in front of me because somebody might come in behind, pull up close and trap me in. This particularly if I’m driving a van.
