My gosh! Do you have to walk so loud! Being a lady I’ve worn heels before, yes and I understand that they make noise, that is unavoidable, no matter how soft you’re trying to walk and especially on certain surfaces. But, you kept walking up and down and up and down the hall and it sounds like you’re jack hammering into the floor. Like you are purposely pushing your foot into the floor with each step. I took a look to see who it was, this slight little lady, who looked smartly dressed but walks like an elephant! I don’t know you, but I now hate you. I cannot concentrate! —Treads Lightly

  1. you think she is bad? you wanna hear my granddaughter, in sockng feet, or bare. you would swear to hell, that she weighs a ton, and jumps every step, when she walks. and she is only about 35 pounds, soaking wet. myself, i am louder in bare feet, than if i wear shoes or flying speghetti monster forbid, work boots.

  2. god sux….
If you take a breath every time you have a comma, it’s like you’re a wheezing, decrepit, overweight smoker….

ease up man. Sometimes less is more.

  3. you sure you tread lightly? It’s sort of like talking loud.. everyone thinks they have a pleasant voice when they hear it inside their own head.

  4. if her job requires her to walk that much, she might want to invest in shoes with a soft sole. They’re safer anyway.

  5. At first I thought it was he-who-shall-not-be-named, but it’s far less crazy and ranty than his writing.

  6. someone was sleeping in the hallway at my university the other day and i was walking down that same hallway. she lifted her head up and huffed, “PICK YOUR FEET UP WHEN YOU WALK”. i could have kicked her in the back of the head, i was so mad. how about ‘stop sleeping at the school’? you lazy beach!
