I think by late Jan when everyone gets back to Ottawa, the Cons will have had their propaganda machine make Dion look even more foolish and will have further vilified the Bloc and further ignored the NDP. At the same time, the Cons will approach one of the three parties and strike a deal by putting some goodies in the budget, causing the coalition to fall apart. The Budget passes and all is well in Canadian politics for a few more months until the next confidence vote. We’ll be back at the polls by this time next year.
