I could not agree more- The people who wear them remind me of cattle being lead to the slaughter, blindly following each other to their demise.I had this whole discussion with my sister just the other day. She argues that they are perfect for gardening…hmmm, I don’t know but if I see her out wearng them in any other place then her garden I will know that the “PODs” have taken over her body and she is as lost as the others!!!!
I don’t care what you think, TYPINGDOLLY, if you don’t like them, DON’T BUY THEM!As for me, I love my CROCS…..yes, that’s how it’s spelled, not “crocks”…..get it right!PS: My ass is tiny.
I got a black pair last week. Most comfortable shoes ever. Beware of imitations, they’re not the same. If you don’t like looking at ’em, I suggest you walk around and eyeball the clouds.
Gotta agree with Molly!I love CROCS! Everyone in my family wears them and my ass is tiny also! ;)Typingdolly I think YOU are full of CROCK!!
Those stupid fuckin “shoes” are the biggest travesty in fasion since sandals with socks or anything from the 80’s. And you horrid looking teeny boppers or cookie cutter blondes that trying to bring this shit back need to be locked in a cage and beaten by Carrot Top and all his props.
You should be more embarrassed at your horrible grammar than the footwear choice of others. It is definitely worse than anything you could put on your feet.I can’t believe anybody could be this stressed out because of what other people are wearing. Take a breath.
Too bad we didn’t know where typingdoll worked. We could have a Parade of Crocs in front of her building.
Hey, Don’t pick on Tabi. Tabi has its place.
Holy shit, a croc squawk! Who the fuck cares? I’m so distracted by the grossly rotund asses in this burg, shit, I can’t even see their friggin’ crocs.
Idiot.ONE – don’t be so troubled by what’s on my feet, I’ll wear shoe BOXES if I feel so inclined, mind your own feet.TWO – if you ARE going to critique the fashion choices of others, how about the stretch jeans worn 4 sizes too small, or the box-grazing skirts that seem to be all over the city. At least my crocs don’t make you blush and/or vomit. Eww.
Holy crap, people! They’re gardening shoes! Or loafers at best. I mean, where what you want, but at least pick out a colour found in nature if you’re going to walk down Spring Garden Road.Speaking of which, I was in Montreal last summer, guess how croc wearers I saw on St.Catherines? None. Thats right.I’m glad we didn’t get the Commonwealth Games, it saves us the embarrassment of inviting ‘the world’ to our classless lifestyle.
Sorry ’bout the types, too many puffs of the hooka…
You were in beautiful downtown Montreal (love that city) and you were spending your time looking down at people’s footwear?????? LOL you really need to lay off the hooka.
My personal dislike about Crocks is that they look like cheap versions of Birkenstocks. I side with cranky they look like dollar store shoes, that and like from someone above bad 80’s fashion. For that reason I really hope jelly shoes never become popular again.
OH NO Mr. Bitterness you said it and now it’ll probably come to be. Ack Jelly shoes!!!
Hey Angela, where are these box-grazing skirts you speak of? 🙂
C’mon, you don’t have to actively search them out, their day-glo-ness practically assaults your vision and overloads your optical receptors. I noticed no one was wearing Crocs(tm) because I realized that I wasn’t being blinded by their crassness. I didn’t really notice it until I got back to Halifax and realized how much they stood out when you get back to here. Maybe they pick black or brown Crocs in Montreal?
When the only thing you have to complain about is the so called annoyance of the footwear of others, your life is fucking sad.
We will probably see all kinds of Crocs and knock-off brands since I noticed them being stocked in the dollar stores in parts of Montreal. It’ll be great – the welfare people will love em. I can just see the squeegee kids and beggars in their bright Crocs smiling cause they think they look cool and only cost $1!
Crocs are about as glam as the Harbour Hopper — another Halifax embarrassment. Come on, Cranky, we’re moving to Montreal!
I was at Aldo today and I am afraid to report that jelly shoes are in fact back. As if Crocs weren’t bad enough…..
Ok here is a legit reason not to wear CROCS. They’re a safety hazard, I saw a warning about them on the escalators in Mic Mac mall.
Crocs…..the worst thing to happen to feet. I used to work in a high end shoe store, wear crocs for about a year…and you will never be able to wear anythign else again (marketing ploy..hello!) Your foot spreads because the croc is so wide. It scares me to see small children wearing them, by the time they are 12…they will not be able to find shoes for their feet.
SHIT & i WAS GONNA BUY A PAIR,LOL
