I am beginning to think the NS department of health only exists in the form of a website and automated voices.
I have been trying to talk to someone there regarding the “Smoke Free Places Act” for 2 weeks now…but I keep getting an answering machine or a voice message that leaves me with a dial tone.
After leaving MANY phone messages, I have yet to speak to someone.
After all this, I am now thinking:
How do I get a job there?! It appears I don’t have to do anything once I set up my answering machine!
. . . Let down yet again by useless Government workers.

Don’t go to Service NS then… It takes hours to have anything done.
You could call your MP and make it their problem. In fact, that’s exactly what that office is for. Go get ’em
E-mail your MLA and councilperson. Civil servants are only obeying their overpaid, micro-managing overlords.
Health Promotion and Protection takes care of the smoking issue, not Health:http://www.gov.ns.ca/hpp/tobaccoControlSmokeFree.htmlThey have a number to call: 1.800.565.3611Maybe this is the number you were already trying, but I hope it helps…
Get use to this, because this is exactly what I’ve been trying to educate everyone about:useless lying theives
