Hi Halifax, I just wanted to say i love you and the people you cuddle in the bosom of your land. i know alot of people experience theft and rudness on a daily basis, but it is the few true haligonians that make it impossible to leave this place and be happy anywhere else. i missed the bus the other day by a second, and a passerby who say this pulled over and offered to give me a lift to the bridge, i had no fear of molestation and it was a true kindness that i love about halifax. and when i walk around halifax, every single nieghbourhood is beautiful, with houses with character and beautiful trees. My bitch is that whenever i leave, i always find myself fighting to come back here.

—Cant get enough of halifax

  1. Here’s a job for the guy looking for a job and raggin about Halifax – bottle what “Can’t get enough of Hfx” is pooring and sell it! Love to hear these words about Hali – music to my ears!

  2. Winter weather and certain cab drivers aside, I have to agree, Halifax is great.

  3. I’ve only been here two years but nothing has changed. “nova scotia hospitality” is an oxymoron and a myth.

  4. Kay, are you from ” away “. Doesn’t matter really. Go fuck yourself. Jesus do you ever shut up. If you don’t like it here, GTFO. Wow, that felt good.

  5. Kay, if you act in real life the way you act in these threads, I’m not a bit surprised people aren’t nice to you.

  6. Who needs HRM “friends” when I can monopolize you on LTWWB, Nanners? Great fun! You type my name almost every time you have something to “contribute”. Mission accomplished. Do you dream about me too? I feel so… special.

  7. Kay, why don’t you just shut the fuck up for once. You ruin every thread you force yourself into with your bullshit views and idiotic commentaries.

  8. Why would I be trying to scare you? I’m simply pointing out the painfully obvious fact that people hate you because you’re a fucking idiot. More sad than scary if you ask me.

  9. While I admit to liking Nova Scotia, I can truely say that Halifax is about the one spot in the Province I don’t like. Narrow streets, parking Nazi mentality, over priced waterfront stores, shoppes & bars. There’s a lot of much nicer places in this Province, but I do agree there are also some very friendly people on the Penninsula.

  10. More, I’ll agree if I can add “panhandling” to the list as well.
I took a trip to BC a few years ago and encountered more guys on bikes selling (possibly bunk) weed than we have panhandlers here. Now I know there’s a drug war and all, but I thought that was kinda cool.

Oh, can can we possibly Ginger-ize this kay troll?

  11. Why would anyone stay in a place that made them miserable for two years??? Life is too short. Don’t like it here? Move on!
