Keep your license. It is the pedestrians that are being picked off in crosswalks. You are much safer in a vehicle.
Funny how everyone feels everyone else is a bad driver, yet they consider themselves as a good driver. If that were true, wouldn’t we all be good drivers and there wouldn’t be any bad drivers?

I ‘come from away’ so I can assure you that Halifax traffic is nothing compared to downtown Beijing during rush hour.
Learning and using simple right-of-way rules would go a long, long way. What’s up with the self-appointed traffic sheriffs waving people into lanes?
Just use right of way rules. They work; and they work whether you are in a car, bike, cab, rickshaw, or walking.
