Yeah it is bullshit, but go figure. Canadians overall are the hardest working population in the world (given total hours per worked) and have the least amount of stat holidays. We’re supposed to get this holiday aren’t we? Sometime soon? Anybody remember “Joe Howe Day”?

There are people,(Countries) all over the world that work a hell of a lot harder than Canadians. For example the country of Napal.

Kernalbob, I WOULD wait till spring, but by spring school is over. I always liked that about university: while those in high school were suffering it out until July, practically, I was free and clear 3/4 the way through April. haha
This was in the news last year too. Rocket Rodney says the business community can’t afford another stat holiday (despite the fact that NS has the lowest number of ’em in Canada) 🙁
If the government in general would get off there ass and try a new appraoch to get in some new industry and good long lasting jobs to begins an increase in people living in NS then the economy would boost itself immediately!!
