I am appalled by this organisation. Not one, but two vulgar examples of their greed and their contempt for the poor. They treat their employees like shit and they treat the homeless like shit. With seeming impunity.
I for one will not spend another cent there. I want everyone to consider doing the same thing and letting Tim Gorton’s know about it. I am writing it here, and I am sending them an email.
I want them to know that I am the kind of coffee consumer that can make or break a small business because I spend so much money on coffee. Especially coffee to go. The stories about Tim Horton’s lately have killed my interest in spending money there anymore.
I am loving the locally roasted stuff. My life feels a small percent better now because I don’t support that miserable, nasty fucking company. I won’t call it life altering, but it is certainly life-BETTERING.
THink about it. Please join me in saying a collective “fuck you” to that organisation. Demand that they prove they’ve changed before you THINK about giving your business back to them.

Perhaps you could tell us what the Big Bad Horton did before you solicit our support. Realize too, Tim Horton’s is a franchise but each store is owned and operated by an individual so are we talking about a single location or should they all go get fucked and why?
I’ll assume it’s in part because of the recent stories of employees being fired for 1-giving a timbit to a baby, and 2- for supposedly stealing $2 from the cash (she claims it was tip money).I don’t drink coffee, only tea, so I can get that anywhere. But I do like a nice Iced Cappucino…
I know what the Big Bad Timmies has done ( I for one read the newspaper and watch the local news) and am in complete agreement with you. I have been drinking fair trade stuff from Uncommon Grounds for over 2 months now but since the fiasco I have successfully convinced all 7 of my coworkers that timmies should be boycotted. So keep up the crusade and fuck you people who are still so hung up of the cuppa that you can’t see the corporate bullshit through the donut hole
Wasn’t there also a story about a customer who purchases a meal for a homeless person who hangs around that location and the person behind the counter yelled at the customer for doing so?
Mimi and People are stupid got it. What they said, plus their coffee sucks big time…I use to like the double double, then something change with my taste buds and could no longer stand milk or cream in my coffee, so it was just sugar coated crap coffee from Tim’s. Now I take it black, you can really taste good and bad coffee when there is nothing in it. Tim’s is Terrible, MickeyD’s is better, Irvine is better, just about every place that sells coffee out there is better than Tim’s. For a time I considered opening a coffee shop called ‘Better than Tim’s’. Now I am not a lawyer, but I think I would have gotten sued.
While I will agree that Tim’s coffee tastes like a monkey’s ass, don’t they do some good charitable work? I.e. the Timbits Hockey league?
