The Bluenose Marathon was over more than a week ago and yet there are still Kool FM signs up around the city. This problem is two fold – in the first instance the sign were placed around the route temporarily and should have been taken down shortly after the race or any event that they are used. Election signs are required to come down shortly after an election, why are not these signs included.
In the second instance, are the signs even permitted? Has Kool FM paid HRM a fee to put these sign in on public property? Do we really want to live with these signs in our community? I do not.
It should be noted that the city sent a by law officer around to require a group of small shops to apply for sign permits for their sandwich board style signs that they put out on the street everyday. The form was 3 pages long and many shops were declined the permits. Given the city’s rule, Kool FM should require a permit for every sign.

You should rip them down.
What about those fuckers who post their “Got Junk?” ads everywhere. I don’t know if they do it in the city, but out here they climb power polls to stick their trashy ‘ads’ all over the fucking neighbourhood.
Here’s a note for you fuckers: You ads are litter, and every time I see them I tear them down and throw them in the trash. As a result I won’t be using your services, douche bags.
Dom’t get me started on that…remember that fucking “I buy houses” guy a couple years back?
ooo, he can’t be doing too good….
Shhhh! No criticism of the saintly Bluenose Marathon is permitted around these parts.
Signs, signs, everywhere a sign. Blocking out the scenery, breaking my mind. (Miles covered all I had to say, and my default is singing.) Do this don’t do that. Can’t you read the siiiiiiign?
I swear I was singing as I typed that.
Are they even recyclable? I doubt it.
