I got my slip in the mail today and decided to have a look at what the contenders for my district are saying they have to offer. Of the three choices, you are the only one that I can’t find anything for. I found a couple articles from 2011 about how you were (albiet what sounds like unjustly) kicked off of a bus and another for ‘rate my professor’. All the entries before this September (2016) rate you as Poor or Awful. Either a lot has changed in your teaching methods or you have 5 or 6 shills posting favourable reviews of you since this is literally the only thing I could find about you aside from your bus incident. —Basic Websites Are Very Affordable and Important

My choices are pretty limited as well. I will not be voting for the ‘seasoned’ incumbent. Too much time at the trough should never be encouraged.
Aye, same in my district. Although the incumbent has one of the best attendance records of the lot, which is something that matters to me so it’s a tough choice. Being around a long time also equals a lot of experience. I’m undecided.
It’s such a backroom political gladhanding process, it makes me gag!
Long ago, I stopped voting for the candidate who blatantly shows disregard for the law. These candidates are the ones who put their signs on public property.
if they think breaking a small law like the Temporary Sign By-Law S-801 (http://www.halifax.ca/legislation/bylaws/h…) then what would make me think they’d hold to ANY law.
I haven’t been able to vote for a single candidate for years! AND IF there was a candidate who was thoughtful toward the laws of HRM, my first question to them would be ‘what are you doing about election contributor reform? my second would be, ‘What are you prepared to do to support the HRM staff (not management), the staff who actually WORK for the City?’
But, I have yet to see a candidate who qualifies as honest.

That’s probably how BC felt during the federal election.
To do public service you really have to believe the public is worth the service. I can’t imagine why anyone would run and put up with the endless complaining; so I really appreciate the effort and support anyone that is willing to give it a shot.
