Not doing it on the bus

So a new campaign at a cost of over one hundred thousand dollars has been launched by our transit company to try and get people out of their cars and into busses. I take the bus daily and wonder at their thinking.  I sit there day after day and watch people get on who do not know how to take the bus and shake my head. Some get on and don’t even know how to show a transfer. It’s either rolled up like a scroll, shown backward, or expired, etc. Some get on and then start looking for their fare, thus holding up service and making some of us late for work, or appointments, etc. Then there are the people who do not know how to get off. They stand at the back door and wait for the doors to magically open when they are on a bus that they need to activate the doors themselves. They, for whatever reason, cannot see or read the instructions as to how to activate them and stand there like idiots and get angry at the exasperated driver. Now you want to add even more idiots who don’t know how to take a bus into the fray? Why don’t you use that money to educate the clueless riders you now have before you add more stupidity and ignorance on transit?? —Please Make It Stop, I Want To Get To Work On Time
