No smoking indoors is one thing but no smoking outdoors? That’s absurd. Who makes up this shit? Stand up. Let’s have a look at ya.
Folks I don’t even smoke- if I smell one in he morning I’ll puke. But if you want to be a moron while looking like an idiot that’s your call. You don’t need to be told it’s bad for you- and those around you.
But if we can drive cars, burn heating oil and jet fuel ( turns out the exhaust particles promote condensation and create clouds and therefore weather ) – if we can indiscriminately burn fuels then you can smoke outside kids. Anything less is hypocritical. —MKIEB

If i’m ourside i will smoke. The beauty of being outside is if the smell bothers you, you can move to get away from the smell. There is so much worse happening currently than worrying about second hand smoke. So many get butt hurt over the dumbest things now. We live in a world where you have to do whats best for you not everyone else. Yes these little things can be annoying but why should a stranger change what they normally do outside for someone who gets butt hurt over mundane things. Cause those who get butt hurt over dumb things have annoying habits that piss others off too.
Being outside isn’t enough. There are places outside you should not be allowed to smoke, which we already have rules about, for good reasons.
Smoking causes cancer, so does 2nd hand smoke. Getting butt hurt over cancer causing things seems reasonable to me.

Too many of the same pun. I sentence Miss pinky and Take a Step to two days in bad pun jail. However, since to my knowledge this is their first offense, I’ll let them go with one year pun probation.
Society only operates smoothly if most people are smart enough to know that cooperation is in everyone’s interest. However, there are always a few who want a free ride. They want the benefits of society (food, shelter, health care, protection, etc.) but only want to cooperate when it suits them. It is for those people that we have laws and punishments. As a society we have decided that second hand smoke is bad for health and that we don’t want to have people walking through clouds of it just so someone else can feed their addiction. People like the OB need to accept that and act accordingly. It’s not that complicated.
Just wait til weed is legalized. People are going to think it’s their “right” to smoke it wherever they can smoke cigarettes. And legally that might even be true. It will be interesting to see just how saturated in skunk our streets will become…
