I hear you!I even wrote an article in the Saint Mary’s University Journal about that back in October.
Residences at SMU are not impressive. I live in Loyola, and with the ridiculous fire drills, dirty elevators, horrible Aramark food, power outages, security who never does anything except sit at the desk and stare like drones into their computers, etc it’s fucking unacceptable. Maybe things are worse in Rice or Vanier, but the people who run this place must be the most asinine fools ever. There are a lot of people living in this building paying a lot of money to be here, and we (at least most of us!) deserve a better quality of res life.
