I don’t understand how creepy dudes stay popular in this city. We all know this shit about them, yet folks continue to frequent their stores or shows and remain friends with them. Can we PLEASE have a zero tolerance policy for men who we KNOW are sexual predators?? They shouldn’t be allowed in our spaces—I can’t believe this isn’t obvious. And women who rush to protect your male friends who get accused of —who are you protecting? Is your friendship more important than the safety of women? Believing survivors means holding your own friends accountable, too. —Survivor Who is Having a Seriously Hard Time Getting This

  1. I do agree many women defend creepy dudes. Its totally weird when they do. However I have also seen women accuse dudes of being “creepy” as a tool to “swipe right” in the real world.

Welcome to life. We have to deal with the good, the bad and the ugly.

  2. Not every “survivor” is believable. Yes, believe it or not people lie for various reasons. Being accused is not the same thing as being guilty. Remember I said “not every” not “all”, each case needs to be taken on its individual merits.

  3. What exactly did you survive? You survived someone being creepy? Sorry, Toots, you don’t survive that, you brush that shit off like a normal person. It’s like me surviving my shower this morning cause I didn’t slip, fall and crack my head open. Throwing around terms like “sexual predator” and “survivor” doesn’t validate anything, it actually makes me question you more. You didn’t mention rape or assault, so I can only assume the guy acted like a douche. Wanting to have sex with women is not a crime, and neither is trying. No woman deserves to be assaulted, period, but I have a hard time believing you were a survivor of anything, because you lack even the vaguest of details. You sound like a manic SJW looking for validation, which you won’t get from me. I save my empathy for real victims. Peace!

  4. Define ‘creepy’. I’ll betcha your definition and mine are miles apart.

A unibrow does not define creepy.

  5. I stand behind you. Please don’t stop demanding to be treated with respect. You deserve it.

  6. Now everyone is getting sensitive again, I see…

Let me re-try that: Come on…it’s a fucking joke! Get over it! All of ya’s!

  7. Haha, my post which was a copy of the OB but with men and women exchanged in the text was deleted. Just proves the double standard, and that our mods are sexist.

  8. “No creepy dudes allowed” That’s all ya need OP. Following a command with please, destroys any bite the command might of had. I know I’m nitpicking but, I don’t care.
