To a certain local newspaper who recently re-designed their website? Change it back! Your new site completely sucks. I use to read your site every morning when I got to work, and I have got to tell you the truth, I have turned to another source for my local, Provincial, National & International news. But I’m still pissed that I can’t find my favourite editorials, or comment!!! Not to mention how long your site takes to load, and how NOT user-friendly it is anymore? I use Firefox and I find it loads quite fast, I’ve also tweaked FF quite a bit to make it load pages faster.

i competely agree with you here. they lost about 30 per cent of their online readers with that stupid site shit. it was a whole lot easier to surf that site, but oh no, they have to fuck it up. all in the name of progress. you really can’t even comment on a story anymore. just make a stupid fucking feedback.

While we are talking about refesh speed of websites. I find thecloast.ca painfully slow. Be thankful that I don’t go anywhere else, because if I did, I might leave for a faster website.
I too dislike the recent changes. I have stopped visiting the site regularly as well. It used to be a once a day visit for me, but I haven’t visited in weeks. I still buy the Sat and Sun paper editions but that is because I am usually off-web for the weekends, and newsprint works well for starting the furnace.

GV, I agree about the Coast. It’s is slow to download and refresh.
I hate it too. I still read it, but I always feel like I’m missing out on something. With the old layout, everything was right there under the various headings.
Ditto on the switching to CBC.
That newspaper is soon to be out of business, anyway.
