also, Dartmouth is not a separate city — no matter how you may feel having grown up there, endless characterless, ugly, suburbia, subdivisions, and industrial parks does not a city make. (aside from the fact that it is, administratively…part of the same city)
I haven’t heard any journalism that referred to Dartmouth as the “outskirts of Halifax” either. It doesn’t happen, you git.

I’m from elsewhere and recently moved to Halifax, and then Dartmouth. Other than the jokes, I feel very accepted by Haligonians, and know many that pop over to Dartmouth regularly, if even just for coffee!
