  1. Actually, MATLF, it’s the responsibility of SHOPPERS, such as yourself, to return the carts to the store or the designated spots instead of leaving them in parking spaces. I don’t know Wal-Mart’s policy, but I would suspect the staff in charge of cart retrieval probably has some kind of “schedule” to follow. Did you actually SEE them “loughing” (laughing? lounging?) around for the ENTIRE time you were in the store? Who knows, maybe they just came back inside, and the cart that hit your cart was left there while they were enroute back into the store.Perhaps next time you should take the bus. Or walk, since apparently it’s *other* people who are lazy.

  2. Oh come on now. It isn’t fair to imply that he/she deserved getting their car dinged because they didn’t take the bus. Walmart hires people to take the carts inside and yes, I know, that they can’t be responsible for making sure that there are no carts on the parking lot. But what it really comes down to is that people need to put them in the recepticles provided. It only takes a second and it saves someone the headache of dealing with scraps and dents.

  3. Holy fuck, telling someone to take the bus. I think I liked Halifax better before the internet, when all of the crackpots were stuck in hfx.general and you didn’t have to hear how ignorant people around here can be.

  4. Next time don’t park 20 feet from the door. It seems laziness and stupidity go hand in hand, and the further from the door you get the less shopping carts there are left by lazy assholes who can’t push a cart an extra 30 feet after spending 3 hours buying cheap shit made in China.

  5. hahahah I got a kick out of Jims post but Wal Mart does have some decent stuff such as ipods and some name brand electronics and what not. I’m not really a wal mart fan though

  6. and I do feel sorry for you. Having your new car all scratched up would suck. I think I’ll end up like my dad and never buy a new car. I’d be to worried about dings and what not.

  7. Hell, if that’s all it takes to get people to boycott Walmart, we should all throw carts around their parking lot more often…
