This isn’t the first time I’ve heard the post comment from a certain shop. Either someone discovered this site recently, or there really is an asshole working for a certain Dartmouth chain.
I’ve heard this acusation about other business owners. I think it’s an urban myth used to fling mud at business owners.
I’d say check in with better business bureau, and read up on how to do small car repairs too, sometimes that stuff can save you a mint, and also saves you the trouble of such jackasses:)
