I hate the pill; I was on that shit for years and it fucked me up big time. The ring gives me cramps and I generally hate hormonal therapy (unless you’re trans, then all the power to you). Condoms give me yeast infections.. and god knows, everyone hates condoms. I wanted another method; so I started hunting for non-hormonal birth control and GUESS WHAT HALIFAX WOMEN, there fucking isn’t any. My last hope was a diaphragm… but they are pretty much unavailable in Canada and NO ONE has an answer for me why. SO WHY THE FUCK? My doctor is a white Jewish normie and won’t give it to me because she wants me on the pill, the clinics will fit me for one but wont actually give it to me, drugs stores don’t carry them… My only option is to spend a shit ton of money on ordering one over seas. As a woman, this should be my choice of which birth control I want to use. And guess what ladies, the choices for non-hormonal birth control just got a lot smaller. I want to be responsible and with this sensitive ass vagina and zero non-hormonal options, its getting pretty damn hard. What the fuck is going on Halifax ladies? — One Sad, Responsible Vagina

Diaphragms are available…….you may need another Doc.
They can be a whole new nightmare however.
Enter with extreme caution.
i can’t have more children but have used some of the methods you described. i found the diaphragm okay, it was the getting it in and out. very surprised you can’t get one
What a fake bitch. But in case it isn’t then either get yourself fixed or find a guy that is fixed. BTW what the fuck does your doctor being Jewish have to do with anything (and the surest way of knowing this bitch is fake).
I would try a non-hormonal IUD, it lasts for 5 years and once it is in you don’t have to pay it another thought. I have one and wouldn’t go on another form of birth control.
welll there’s always a vasectomy for yer partner “snip, snip”
Or a hysterectomy for yerself ….
Are you sponge worthy ?

So there’s 3 right off the top of me skull !
Not clear if OP has a partner and she my want children in the future so all the snip snip solutions may not be viable. How does a condom give one a yeast infection? Condoms are latex and, I thought, sterile. A yeast infection is a biological event originating usually from a partner or another non-sterile source.
OP Go to Planned Parenthood.I don’t know your age(35 and older) or whether or not you smoke cig.’s or if you ever had a blood clot. These are factors that you can tell a clinic or Planned Parenthood that should get you that Diaphram you want.
Good luck.
Try cling wrap, protects against herpes and warts as well. Just don’t skip out and get the no name shit, that’ll give ya yeast infections. There, a real solution for a real Bitch.
Poster, you sound like some one that I would like to get to know really well.
Troodon A condom that has spermicide on it can cause the PH level in a vagina to change and can cause a yeast infection.A yeast infection can be past between sexual partners.
A woman can also be allergic to the chemicals the condom and/or the spermicides is made of;which can also cause the PH levels to fuck up causing a yeast infection.
I should have mentioned that I am fixed. and divorced for the last 3 years.
As someone mentioned — non hormonal IUD.
May cause some cramping at first, though.
Thank you Boru. I did not know that.

Have you tried Skyn condoms? They’re made from polyisoprene instead of latex. My girlfriend said the latex ones bothered her, but the polyisoprene are fine.
Have you considered the Nova-T IUD? No hormones and good for 5 years. IUDs can come with their own set of problems, but some women have no issues at all. If nothin else seems to fit, it might be worth a try
F’n mobile coast… Previous comments weren’t visible until after I commented. Again, that awkward moment lol
P.S.- Don’t listen to Sonic! Haha!
NurseHezz I don’t know a whole lot about IUD’s.Is an IUD the birth control with the string hanging outside of the females vagina?
Hi Boru 🙂
The IUD has a string that hangs outside of the cervix, not the vagina. Its there for when its time for the doctor to remove it. It’s also there so that the woman can occasionally check to ensure the IUD is still in its proper position. The string is tiny, so you and your partner won’t know it’s there… Although I have read that some men have been able to feel the string during intercourse. Not sure how valid these claims are.
Can this thread by any chance poke a man in the pee hole if they thrusted really hard? I got Irish Spring soap in there once so a string may bring that horrible burning feeling back.
No pokes in the pee hole Sonic lol…it’s flimsy
NurseHezz I was kind of embarrassed to ask,It was a good thing I did.I was given the wrong info by someone.
Thanks for answering my question.
Sonic Your a guy?!
Hi boru, the IUD stands for intra(?) uterine device and they have been around for awhile. back when i was young and fertile as the banks of de-nile i tried them all. including the dreaded dalkan shield, shaped like an evil spider/crab with hooked legs that worked it’s way out on it’s own. also tried copper T, loop. pills and condoms. this was 40 years ago, but it doesn’t appear that things have changed much. by now, there should be a safe, convenient impermanent method of birth control.
Boru; Think of me as an effeminate version of Clay….. Aikan. I have beautiful eye lashes too.
Boru; I also forgot to tell you about my curly hair, I keep it real short though.
@ NurseHezz
I had a girlfriend who had a new iud installed a few days prior to intercourse. Yes, prior to the ‘string’ loosing it’s ridgitity I could feel it. not uncomfortably though, and less and less as it loosened up.
GDM Thanks,I find BC and it’s history an interesting topic. Why use one, if you haven’t a reason.Unless you need one for medical reasons.
SC You sound like a beautiful man. lol *flicks wrist*
“Not like there’s anything wrong with that” Gerry Seinfeld
hrmet; I knew my pee hole was at stake.
Boru; I am beautiful, thanks.
I had to laugh at the convo between sonic and Nurse hezz. Nurse you’re one smart lady. My ex gf was going to get an IUD to save money on birth control and condoms but decided that having something implanted in her vagina sounded too invasive for her liking. I can imagine that’s a concern that a lot of women have, understandably.
Putting something inside me and just leaving it there freaks me out too. What if the string gets shoved up in there and gets stuck in the wall or something? I don’t have the time to deal with things shifting around in there, I’ll stick to the little pills :).
the dalkan shield IUD was linked to cervical cancer, who knows what delights other devices will leave in our bodies.
i’d like to see a safe, easily performed bc device insertion, say in one’s arm, at puberty, then when you make the conscious decision to get pregnant, you have it clicked off or whatever.
Just pull out.
I have some serious reservations about hormonal methods including the Pill and lean towards a non-hormonal IUD.
Switch Dr. OP. Google HSHC, drop in, they’re very helpful.
Forget the birth control idea and just use a damn condom. These people only worrying about babies and not disease need to wake the fuck up. Oooh boo hoo the latex makes you itch – TOUGH SHIT! It gives you a yeast infection?? Huh? No YEAST gives you a yeast infection DUH! Go get yourself some monstat and take a damn bath after sex, stoopid.
Sonic, you crack me up lol…I think your pee hole will be perfectly safe : P.
The IUD is great for women who don’t want to have to think about birth control for 5 years, providing they have no complications. There have been incidences of the device migrating up into the uterus and requiring surgical removal, so I can see why some women may decide against it. Also, an IUD is thought to increase the incidence of vaginal infections.
Ploopy…. Thank you 🙂
Women who are at risk of blood clots or who have a history of blood clots can’t use hormonal bc.
No fool Women can be sensitive to the chemicals in/on the condoms that can affect the PH level in the vagina causing bacteria and yeast to grow causing Candidiasis.
