The point with teachers is, that although there is a widespread “ban” in the western world of Doctor/patient, and lawyer/client…the teacher/student is less clear. In fact, a quick google shows that in many states, it is OK as long as the age of consent is reached. The logic here is that once a person reaches 16+, they are no longer (or shouldn’t be) under the “thrall” of a teacher…
And, in Canada, if the teacher is from another school, for instance…there would be no issue.

Not saying people who are 20+ should go about trying to have sex with 14-16 year olds (definitely should not) but we should recognise that 14 year olds are sexually maturing or mature. Wanting it to be inappropriate for people to be sexually mature at 14 does not make it happen. People are sexually mature at 14 years old. You can’t change it by wishing it not to happen. With an age of consent at 16 it’s illegal for a 15 year old to have sex with their 16 year old boyfriend/girlfriend.
I think, as a society, we’ve turned 14 years old into the new 8 year olds and the 18 years old into the new 10 years old. Everyone thinks being an innocent child as long as possible is a good thing. I think it is best to treat teenagers like adults as much as possible, not children.

I had a nervous breakdown followed closely by a psychotic breakdown. I od’ed twice and at my lowest point slit my wrists just so this miserable fucking existence would stop.
How are things now, years later?
I go out of my way to avoid contact with anyone under what I perceive as 30ish.
I never ever enter any establishment whatsoever unless there are 2 or more people present, I would rather walk for miles in the worst kind of weather then be in a position where I have no witnesses.
If anyone comes to my door I talk to them through the screen, behind closed blinds. No one comes in and I don’t come out.
Aside from medical professionals I make a conscious effort to never ever be in a one on one situation with any singular individual in any environment ever, regardless of age, creed, color, race, sex, whatever. If that means being lonely forever so be it.
I have as little contact with the outside world as possible. The only three places I frequent are the grocery store, the liquor store and the gas station. Only during peak hours when the crowds are large and the faces forgetable.
I am an alcoholic, I haven’t been sober since that nightmare started. I sit alone in my place of residence in the dark and drink myself into a coma nightly.
I have no family and by choice no friends, self imposed social alienation they call it.
I am still in therapy.
I haven’t looked anyone in the eye or spoken above a whisper in years.
I make a concious effort to be anonymous, unassuming, unmemorable, and forgettable.
I am the walking dead and I haven’t hit middle age yet.
Young lady, you have it within your power to make the responsible mature correct choice or to utterly totally and completely destroy a person.
The choice is yours, hopefully you are intelligent enough and mature enough to make the right one.

Listen Ghost….I’m really sorry for all your loss, but geez, why do you (and some others) think that because this girl has the hots for her teacher and may even sleep with him, that it will end in a big huge disaster? Losing everything and ending up in court??….like I said before, people sleep together all the time……people get divorced all the time….and sometimes they don’t, sometimes they work through their “mistakes” and sometimes they don’t. Most affairs go undetected by the other spouse who would be happy to never have to have sex with the person they married.
In high school, I can think of one or two girls that were like the type you are talking about. Most girls aren’t out to ruin someone elses life for their own enjoyment, and by the sounds of things (wrapping his arm around her) the feeling is mutual. Its just sex, people need to loosen up! You only live once, so if you are both in agreement of the fact that it is just sex, and prepared to protect yourselves, go for it!

be 21 or 22. Again we’re being generous, graduate high school at 17 plus 4 years for a university degree.

‘Scary’, I’ve explained this before as to why guys who sleep around are considered “studs” while girls are “sluts.” It all has to do with effort and accomplishment. In general, men have to put in a lot more effort to sleep with a girl, and when we finally do after at least several hours of carefully crafted conversation and several drinks purchased, we have accomplished something, while with women, it’s not much of an effort or an accomplishment to sleep with a guy because, as ‘lorilulu’ said, we men ARE easy! Check out a show called ‘Keys to the VIP’ to see true players in action – I think there really is a certain “Art of Seduction.” It’s a Canadian show set in Toronto. Double standards work both ways too: perfectly fine for a woman to hit a man, but the other way around is violent assault.
Shitty story, Ghost! I’ve also heard of men’s lives that have been ruined through false accusations of rape, as well. I know a guy whose girlfriend told him she was on the pill, went off it without telling him, and now he’s stuck paying child support for the next 18 years.
Well maybe I’m behind the times, but I know I didn’t even come close to thinking about fucking a teacher (or anyone else for that matter) until I was at least 17, or around second year of high school, and even then I was so inexperienced that I would never have tried it. So maybe this girl is really young which would be totally creepy. Hey OP, if you’re on here reading this could you clarify your age for us? I’ll bet she/he is at least 16.
And @ Bro Tim, I guess you didn’t get away with your affair or know people who didn’t….either way I think your stats are way off…99.9 percent of people don’t get away with it? I’d say about 30 percent of spouses know that they are being cheated on and are either okay with it or don’t give a fuck cause they’re fuckin around too!
Ghost, don’t forget that she also knows words that I at 24 do not even know the meaning to, such as “conain.” Even dictionary.com has never heard of this word.

Seriously though, based on the writing style, her using words such as “small of my back” which I certainly didn’t use at 15, I think she must be at least 17. She likely would have learned the “Greek God” reference from novels she’s read, not necessarily from a recent Greek mythology class. She writes in a stream of consciousness (which she also would have learned more about in grade 10 or 11 English, hopefully with Ms. D___ the Sex Machine) and is therefore not entirely grammatically correct. Neither am I, especially when I post here. It’s an Internet forum, not a thesis. My dad has a Master’s Degree, (Sciences mind you) and his writing is horrible. Grammar and spelling mistakes galore!
