im a local musician, and im so sick of hearing everybody saying that Halifax is where its at in the music dept., we have hardly any venues left at all, and it seems the only people who come to shows are the musicians themselves, come on people come support the industry you seem to be so proud of!

  1. There was a gig on a Thursday and the band didn’t go on stage till 12:30 AM. So I could not go. I had to work the next morning. Now I know you might say suck it up and sleep when your dead or something like that. Nuts to that. I’ll buy their CD. When I can afford it.Could take weeks sir.

  2. Right on Daniel…thats exactly why I dont’ go out like I used to. I start work at 730am most days. The bands are usually supposed to start at 11 but its always about 1230 like you said. If its not on a weekend then I usually don’t make it.

  4. I agree halifax isnt the ebst for venues at all! i havent been to a good show in like a year due to this! but in realistic turns halifax is where you would play a good show compared to sackville, bedford dartmouth etc
