It is a sad state of affairs when an ordinary person like myself, sides with the criminals. I would advise to go the election route, but this department of provincial government needs reform , big time.They treat the people they are suppose to care for like garbage, I don’t know the details of Mr Dixon’s rage, but I bet he had valid reason for his frustration, he is likely just another ignored client.

Reform is needed but that is absolutely no excuse for violence. I’d love to see those people who abuse the system made accountable, including the women who pop out babies like kittens to increase the amount of their cheques and the lazy-assed shits who collect while living with someone who supports them. I’m all for helping those in need but want to spit on those who abuse and work the system to their advantage. Community Services needs a better system of checks and balances.
Yes reform is definitely warranted at Community Services, however, there is NO justification for this man’s actions. I was on assistance for a long while, and I was very grateful for having a roof to live under and groceries in my fridge. Nobody at Comm. Services treated me like garbage, they just don’t communicate with you. This guy obviously didn’t think about a plan, before going to the office on Gottingen Street, and making threats against Ms. Streatch. That is absolutely 100% unacceptable behaviour to fuck with someone’s family, just because your’e not getting what you want, when you want it.
