I can’t believe I actually had to tell two grown adults to shut up in the middle of a movie tonight! Last I checked, most of us grew out of carrying on long conversations at a normal conversational volume during movies when we turned 15.

If you’re going to chat through a movie, don’t waste your money, and mine, stay the fuck home and rent it.

  1. Welcome to the new millennium, where no-one gives a fuck about anyone else… Halifax is a big city now!

  2. I personally love how they tell you to turn off your cellphones on screen and yet somehow, some way there is always some bulb who doesn’t understand this simple, courtesy request and their phone goes off halfway through the movie … and then a few more times. Idiots.

  3. Another thing with the cell phones, is even if it’s on vibrate, someone just has to reply to a text, and the screen lights up that little section of the theatre

  4. Some butthairs think they’re in their fucking living room and refuse to adjust their volume no matter where they are. You did right – too bad you couldn’t have pitched a 60 oz. Coke at them.

  5. going to see potter today…. If this happens I’m going to fucking lose it at any douche-canoe yapping their trap.

the equivalent to 5 cans of watery, uncarbonated syrup with a 2 000% inflated price is coming in hot, right at your mellon.
    (3.60ish for .09 of liquid/cup/straw)

Oh, and don’t be surprised if I go and fetch the cup… there are free refills.

  6. Actually I went to see a movie called “Orphan” the other day. Just about as scary and gory as it gets. At any rate, this fucking lady brings her 3 pre-teen daughters to see this! I could not fucking believe it! This movie came complete with fucking and decapitation. These kids never shut up the whole movie. What the fuck would this “parent” be thinking taking their kids to that?! Mayeb I am just getting old.

  7. I liked that movie too, it was creeeeepy. And I agree with you, that was NOT a movie for kids.

  8. Parklane all the way monday-thursday, no talkers at all and most nights, the theatre is half full. If you choose to go on a weekend, and to see a popular movie, that’ll never change. I say wait until the movie is 2-3 weeks out then go see it on like a wednesday or something around that time. Certainly avoids the morons!
