It’s not a crosswalk, but you in your ugly white trainers decided to cross anyway. Ok, that’s fine I guess… but please don’t stroll across the street like it’s a lazy Sunday afternoon when it’s 8:15 am on a Monday. —Señor Slow

  1. Don’t those scenes in movies where a guy/girl slowly walks across the street and then WHAM, a transport truck plows right through them ever happen in Halifax? City Council better get on it.

  2. I hardly think that the colour of the Ugly Trainers is in any way relevant. Check yourself in for some cultural sensitivity training OP.

  3. Yes Ivan I will have to go to trainer sensitivity classes. I’m such a bad person *sob sob sob*

    LOL

  4. >: ). Because, like Dr. King, I too have a dream. Except mine involves Katy Perry and Rihanna with no clothes on, and I think the Blue Angels are flying overhead and I’m pretty sure Morgan Freeman is the narrator. And then James Woods & I are cop buddies called Bookman & Psycho and an evil genius named Dr. Underpants is trying to destroy the world. And then it starts to get weird…..

  5. No. Screw you. I have a right to walk, driving is merely a privilege. This is a city of asshat pedestrians. Get used to it or move.

    😉

You’re right. But.. you know.. chill out. This city is awesome because pedestrians feel so safe and drivers are so laid back. Don’t turn halifax into dartmouth…

  6. “Don’t those scenes in movies where a guy/girl slowly walks across the street and then WHAM, a transport truck plows right through them ever happen in Halifax?”

Would be great on a certain July 23 parade.

You would think that The Coast would not want the liability of hosting illegal hate propaganda. Dozens of blatant posts still plainly visible. This is one of the milder ones.

I don’t understand what the possible payoff could be for such a huge risk?

A constitutional challenge in the courts? Does The Coast intend to defend hate speech? Maybe they really do believe it should be allowed? I suppose that would explain it.

  7. Wow, this was deleted first time. (They really do advocate hate speech!)
