To the gigantic bicycle rider who crashed into me at full speed when I was crossing Inglis on the pedestrian crosswalk: FUCK YOU, you bloody hemorrhoid; I had the right of way. And Thank the genius lawmakers of Nova Scotia who don’t require any kind of identification on bicycles, who made it impossible for me to ID you when you sped off without apologizing, not to mention, allowing you to crash into whoever the fuck you want wherever the fuck you are because this goddamn city isn’t even TRYING to set up bike lanes to keep speeding assholes like you in order. Thanks for the fresh bruises and bloody scratches and the humiliation of holding up traffic for being caught laying down in the middle of the road, cradling my aching head. You don’t deserve to walk, let alone ride a bike and I hope karma gets you good with more than just a flat tire.

Pedestrian Against Fucking Bicycle Riders

  1. It’s a funny double standard bicyclists have… When they are hit by a car all hell breaks loose and someone would fess up to it. But when the show is on the other foot (bicyclist takes off your side mirror or in your case runs into you), “what happened? Bicycle hit you? No. Impossible, they are green machines.” Or something to that effect I guess…. Hopefully you got a good look at him and one day karma might come in…

  2. Hey Fred, take your double standard and shove it up your fucking ass. For every bad move a cyclist makes I bet someone can point out a boneheaded move a pedestrian or a car drive made. Fuck is this ever getting old.Last week a friend of mine was hit while riding his bike. The person in the car didn’t even stop to see if he was ok. So fuck off.

  3. I do think bikes should have PLPD is they are going to be used on the roads with the same rules as cars…it’s only fair. You damage some else’s car or property, people have a reasonable expectation that it will be replacedpaid for and you cannot expect the victim to pay for someones assholishness.

  5. Cranky – Fred is right as you can identify a car by it’s license plate and pass that along to police whereas ID’ing a bike is a bit difficult. “yes officer, it was a blue mountain bike driven by a guy in red spandex” sure narrows it down for the cops eh?
