Its actually the city on Montreal paying this dude, not the federal liberals. I agree though, it is a little silly. Even a rate of $180 an hour seems steep if he’s putting in 10 hour days. Not completely out of this world for a contractor though.

I’m curious as to how this cost couldn’t be cut by simply recording the first greeting on video and just replaying it?
I mean, that’s gonna use power which is always getting more fucking expensive but I’m sure even an IMAX running 24/7 doesn’t burn through $1800 a day.
