Jeez louise with cheese. I tried making myself a good ol’ grilled cheese sandwitch and my stove top caught on fire. Nothing better then eating fire extinguisher fluid on toast!

I’m no stove expert, but I’m guessing you’ll need to get that checked out. Next time you might not be so lucky and your whole house might burn down.
That is the worst.
First clean your stove top and under the elements (people forget crap gets under them). Second I hope you used a pan and not put the sandwich right on the element (and yes I’ve seen it done).
Martha Stewart recommends using an iron, turn off the steam function and hey presto grilled cheese sarnie done to perfection – do not use starch.
Make sure you wrap it in tinfoil first, unless you want butter on your iron, which will later transfer to the one nice shirt you own, and unless you want shirt on your sandwich.
Dude, that happend to me last week except i was making side kicks!! and id idnt know weither or not to use water so i used a dish colth…..not a good idea
is that actually possible? tinfoil and an iron?
it almost sounds plausible…
hmmmm….
