read the article about metro transfit… guess what Friday & Saturday I took #4 & #2 to Scotia Square hoping to transfer & when my bus arrive the #1 pulls out and doesn’t wait for people. Plus the revised book that the was paid for with tax payers money is wrong. I lived in ontario & BC and NS transit is terrible. —Fed up with metro transit

Didn’t Metro Transit begin a GPS-based system for passengers to call for arrival times? Or did that go down the pipes to the sewage treatment plant or into the 4% raise for the mayor?
nah seb, they still have it, just that people are too busy bitching about transit to bother to check the times. go figure hey.
I live in St John’s, used to live in HELLifax, and the transit here is amazing!!! First, they play music; the bus drivers are polite and professional, they do a lot more than just wait for you, they actually give a crap about their job; you can buy a newspaper….It’s like I died and ended up in Europe. Halifax should take a page. but they never will. They love being incompetent. They’d rather suck the worst than admit that someone else does it better and they can LEARN (dirty, dirty, word) Why bother, the money comes in any way…subsidies!!! If people had to WORK for a living then you would have public transporation. Metro Transit is an embarassment…
Yeah, but what’s the expanse of service in St John’s? I have friends who lived there and said the overall service expansion sucks.
