they’re so easy to offend, all you have to do is mention women’s rights, consent, LGBTQA… etc… Even if you mention an uncomfortable experience you had with or near a man. Tell me about your life bb —you think its about you, so it probably is about you

  1. And WHAT is “A”? God I’m uncomfortable with “A” now! Soon B then C… whatever will my penis do?

  2. Well, certain social movements of the past 50 years. in their very laudable desire to change the status quo and improve lives for all have helped to foster a cultural of permanent grievance and blanket scapegoating. Can you blame some men for hopping on your bandwagon.

Here’s a little secret – the global population is far too large and way too complex to pigeonhole in the narrow strictures of socio-political dogma and the current cause celebres or buzzwords du jour. And as for individual interaction – forget that! Human experience cannot simply be reduced to parroting slogans like “oppression” and “privilege” without some pushback. Self respect is not a concept owned by only one gender.

  3. I absolutely hate it when I burn my toast. It wastes the bread and I have to wait while two more slices toast. Meanwhile, my soft boiled eggs and tea are getting cold.

The problem is that different breads toast at different rates. I could, of course, always buy the same bread and find the perfect setting for that particular bread but that would be boring. I like to try different breads each week.

So, if we can send a space probe out to explore the outer reaches of the galaxy, why can’t we design a toaster that senses the “doneness” of the bread? Is there an app for that? I like mine crisp and medium golden brown – not black and smoking.

  4. I am 100% feminist. Equality among the sexes is paramount to the happiness and success of both genders. Whatever the tumblr-esque bitchers/commenters are on this board; I am not that.

  5. Please don’t generalize. Just because a few males in your circle upset you it is no indication of how all men conduct themselves. Everyone is an individual.

  6. Uh oh Frag… don’t upset the apple cart! I think you mean sexes, of which there are currently two (until our non-cis male friends decide differently [non-cis male: is that how it’s described? I’m looking for a collective noun… correction anyone?]).

Anyhoo… make yourself a tea and Google, “list of genders” – the top three results should be a starting point… ☕

  7. I’m actually going to continue to refuse to learn this, until the “science” becomes less of a tactic and more of a truth.

  8. I’m not sure if I understand this correctly… The author separates “men” from the LGBTQA community as if there are no “men” in the LGBTQA community?

I’m not so sure how many men fit the sexist mold you made for them, but I’m guessing it’s a lot lower than you think.

  9. Charlie Brown, the A is for asexual (I believe) . The I is for intersex. There’s a whole lot of others, but this seems to be one of a few short forms.

  10. My comment was taken down because I recited the alphabet. Calm down “the coast” It was a joke. There are a lot of letters in that community, new ones are added on an almost yearly basis. Quite frankly I wouldn’t be surprised if some day the lgbtq..ect community has all the letters in the alphabet. Now go ahead and take my comment down. Screw intelligent discourse. You don’t want to offend anybody.

  11. “might spew”

    “a broad’s mouth”

This “broad” is speechless. (or is that “spewless?”)
