i live in the hydrostone neighbourhood and have been to the acclaimed Julien’s Patisserie on several occasions.
to be brutally honest, i have found their baked goods to be over-rated & over-priced, the taste/quality is somewhat mediocre.
compared to an authentic french bakery (and i’ve been to many), the hydrostone patisserie is a mildly disappointing experience.
it gets 3 out of 5 stars (and i’m being generous)
