I’ve noticed that unless news comes from a “legitimate” news source in Halifax, people just completely ignore it or it’s shoved under a rug, never to see the light of day.
I’m sure we all can recall the quagmire involving the ex-Mayor his failure to execute the wishes of someone who entrusted him to do so.
It was reported on numerous times by someone who is a legitimate journalist and it was completely ignored. However, when it could be ignored no more and it was finally picked up by the “mainstream media”, it was all downhill from there.
I’ve noticed that it’s happening yet again. A “non-legitimate” news site has reported on some issues that all taxpayers should find rather interesting and yet there hasn’t been a single thing mentioned about it elsewhere.
Look around you Haligonians. The real news isn’t necessarily what you’re paying money for. —Refuses to pay for lies

Is this an Easter egg hunt or can you give us a hint as to what scandal to look for?
My first random guess is that talking Xmas tree ‘scandal’…*shrugs*
JUST ANOTHER CONSPIRACY FREAK
“I’ve noticed that unless news comes from a ‘legitimate’ news source in Halifax, people just completely ignore it or it’s shoved under a rug, never to see the light of day.” Refuses to pay for lies
On what grounds does “Refuses to pay for lies” distinguish a legitimate from an illegitimate news source? By referring to a “legitimate” news source in quotation marks he appears to maintain that it is in reality an illegitimate news source. But how does he distinguish the two?
Does he have special, insider knowledge? Of course not. He doesn’t distinguish the legitimate from the illegitimate news sources because he can’t. In effect he is just another conspiracy freak which abound on the Internet. Out differently, “Refuses to pay for lies” is himself an illegitimate news source.
A pleasure as always,
Cheerio!
Way to non-report on it yourself there, dick-knuckle.
Willard, I hope you’re not referring to me. A “dick knuckle?.” I mean really!
Yeah they call it conspiracy, unsubstantiated , blah , blah , blah
Just because its an unsubstantiated claim or a conspiracy theory ….. does not mean it isn’t true !
Here here
All unsubstantiated claims or conspiracy theories may be true. Or thy may not be. We just don’t know, do we. That is because we just don’t know what is true or not true. I recently saw little green aliens walking on my lawn. It’s true, I tell you! It’s true!
