What exactly are you hoping for with your facebook group, “Keep the Bastards in Jail- Mc Donald’s Murderers”?

Introduction of the death penalty? Redefinition a ‘life term’? The abolishment of double-jeopardy statutes? Better “rehabilitation”? That after having served their time and undergone 20+ years of “rehabilitation” that ex-cons should not be privileged to see what’s happened in the world over the past 20 years or learn any coping skills for it but be stripped of any wealth their families may have prepared for them so they’re ejected from prison as the most wretched and hopeless of our society? Don’t you think we have enough of them?

Just what are you trying to do? Just what is good enough for you? Maybe you should trying living in jail for 20 years before assuming you can even be close to the same person you were while incarcerated. You may not be “cured” but you sure the fuck wouldn’t do anything else that would cost you another 20 year incarceration with the world a watchin’, would ya? Well, these people are but PEOPLE. And our system is supposed to be “rehabilitating” offenders. It’s in nobody’s best interests to house criminals for their entire lives over the same crime or to have a sentence arbitrarily added to or to rescind sentencing 20 years after the fact. Are you out of your mind? That’s why many have declined showing support for your USELESS group.

If you were a more open-minded, thoughtful person we could have had this discussion on your group but you’re too dam predictable.

  1. You shouldn’t talk about something you know nothing about. The problem is that the guy is getting two unescorted absences to stay with his girlfriend. He was sentenced to life, with no parole until 20 year, but has only served 17 years of this sentence.

  2. do the crime,do the fucken time, or better yet, bring back death penalty for the real serious assholes, that merit it. too much bullshit is going on now,in this and other cities.if you, yourself was a victem of a serious crime,or your family member was knocked off.bet you would be the first one to scream,”hang the fucker”. we have all been down the road where there is no real justice for the victems, if you are one of the offenders, then you fucking deserve everything you get, in or out of jail. but these days, even murderers walk free.

  3. Wow OP you really have no clue. So, in your fantasy world, murderers have no urge to kill again after 20 years in jail. BULLSHIT!! Maybe this is true for a percentage but is it worth taking a risk? No, and for the horrible grief this useless excuse for a human being has caused the victim’s family he deserves LIFE in jail. Our justice system is totally fucked, and the people who commit capital crimes are not severely punished enough.

  4. Life should be til your fuckin dead since they won’t won’t allow hanging for these pieces of shit. Are the victims getting unescorted abscences? Nope, all except one is DEAD you ass and the one that survived will never ever see the semblance of a normal life. So do I feel sorry or think these pieces of shit are being treated unfairly. No fucking way.

OB you picked the wrong thing to bitch about.

  5. If you want to live in a world run by an eye-for-an-eye with no room for turn-the-other-cheek I suggest you go live in the almighty USofA or some other backward country where a good lynchin’ still passes for justice. We just don’t do that shit here, Thank God.

If 20 years after suffering the trauma of loss you’re still inclined to carry out an execution I’d say it’s YOU whose become dangerous and YOU who has murderous intent.

  6. Not only that, the fuckers should be busting rocks in Nunavut until they keel over. No fucking TV, no gym, and you’ll earn the salt to put on your fucken potatoes. This country and people like the OP are the problem.

  7. It’s kinda weird, but the poor innocent people that were murdered, rather fucking brutally? They HAVE to stay dead. For eternity.
Why are these “poor, poor” murderers still in jail??? By God, those poor souls!
They did the crime, let their sorry, pathetic asses ROT in jail.
Fuck you, OP. This has SHIT to do with open-mindedness. I don’t give a sweet crap if they’ve been rehabilitated. They deserve to die in prison.

  8. Fuck that – I’m all for capital punishment and castration of child molesters – too much of our tax money is wasted on these fucking animals. If they knew they could die as a result of their actions, it might make them think twice. As far as this McDonald murderer goes, there’s no way he should get released. That little cocksucker deserves to have his balls nailed to a cement wall for all the pain and grief he caused the families of the victims.

  9. Is the “girlfriend” one of these freaks that has a thing for men in prison? wtf’s with that anyway…There’s this whole subculture of chicks that write letters to murderer’s and rapists in prison…freak show.

I am 100% capital punishment, however this was a particularly brutal crime and so 17 years seems too soon…I hope they keep an eye on this dude.

But, yeah, eventually people have to get out if they are deemed ‘safe’, not like Charles Manson who will never get out. I have a problem with serial killers getting out as well, but they will, one day…

We can’t lock someone up for 40-50 years if they have been rehabilitated, IMO

  10. Mistakes yeah, that’s the number one reason people can’t argue against (although some do, unbelievably)…

…life without parole…hmmm. For ANY murder, or just serial killers?

I can’t see life without parole for the kid that grows up and murders the priest that used to bugger him, for instance…

But serial killers, that killed over many years…yeah maybe, but always with that old “faint hope clause” perhaps

  11. I just wish our system was more honest. They call it life, they really mean 25 years out in 7 years. If you only want the person to serve 7 years, then say 7 years, don’t say life. Most lives last longer than 7 years.

And in regards to this case…they said no chance of parole for 20 years…well that really means no chance of FULL parole for 20 years…Muise has had loads of unescorted passes for years now, most to go see his girlfriend. Which brings up another point, who would be his girlfriend?

And I hate to get all political, and I know everyone here is young, and thus idealist, and thus a socialist, and thus a N-dipper, but our only chance of the system getting stronger is through the Conservatives. Don’t complain about the justice system and then go vote red or orange.

  12. I’m not for capital punishment; even IF there was a way to be 100% sure that an innocent person was not being executed, as happens from time to time. Not to mention the fact that the majority of people on death row down south are poor and of colour.
I’m more of a fan of trying to address the causes of violent crime, which would make more sense to me than just being like “if you commit a crime, we’ll torture you with hot pokers.” Obviously a large portion of crime is recidivism and I DO agree that certain people really should be put in jail for life, IE, until they die, for certain crimes. I don’t agree with making them live in a hole in the ground with only ant sandwiches for food, but fucking satellite TV is a bit much. Give them books, and teach the illiterates to read. There are so many fucking unwanted books in the world. Maybe they would actually learn something.

As for these Facebook groups, I think the people who join them just have a lot of anger and so they find a suitable target (IE Penny Boudreau) and then sit around online tapping out what they’d like to do to her. It says “I hate people who hurt people” but it also screams “I want to take my anger out on someone soooo fucking bad.”

  13. “Not to mention the fact that the majority of people on death row down south are poor and of colour.”

Perhaps because those are the majority of the people committing capital offenses?

You might also find people who speed tend to get the majority of speeding tickets.

  14. OP, yer a fuckin’ IDIOT. They killed 3 defenceless people, you wacko. Why don’t you go back to OJ?

“Perhaps because those are the majority of the people committing capital offenses? ” Exactly, Yorkke.

These scum that killed those defenceless people should have been escorted to the top of the justice building and thrown from the roof. Or had their hands beaten off with hammers.

  15. Murderers of colour are also much more likely to be sentenced to death if their victim is white rather than a person of colour. There are also statistical increases in the likelihood of a person of colour being sentenced to death for the same crime as a white killer. Must just be a coincidence, I guess.

  16. What states? What are the rates? What numbers are we looking at here?

These black people committing the same offenses as white people but having a higher rate of being given the death penalty, is it always the exact same crime with exactly the same circumstances? Are their prior records always exactly the same? Who is giving these sentences, judges or juries? What colour are the judges? How does that effect things? What is the colour break-down of the juries? How does that effect the rates?

Are your statements based on factual evidence, or anecdotal evidence, or gut instinct, or by watching A&E Cold Case, or by just continuing old stereotypes about “the south”?

  17. I’m not going to sit here and spoon feed you information, but googling “racism + death penalty” should be a help.
But yes, factual evidence was the basis of my claims.

  18. They killed 3 innocent people and left one women severely disabled for the rest of her life. And you, OP, think we should give THEM compassion? Maybe if they hadn’t decided to be little shits and rob a mcdonalds then they wouldn’t be in jail in the first place. They have no one to blame for their situation other than themselves. Period.

I read on wikipedia (yah I know, it’s wikipedia) that this particular slimebucket that’s been given passes so he can go fuck his girlfriend invested an inheritance in RIM and now has millions. Well isn’t that just the cat’s ass (if it’s true)….

In canada a life sentence is 25 years….doesn’t sound much like a “life” sentence to me. And most never serve that! We practically encourages shitbags like this to kill people, so go fuck yourself OP. I’d be a little more “open minded” if these little cocksuckers refrained from shooting four innocent people just trying to make a buck in the first place.

  19. I don’t think “compassion” is required to simply carry out the sentencing doled out by a judge. To want to change the rules now should make all Canadians very nervous.

  20. Oh wow Golly Gee whix..the guy had to spend 17 years in jail without seeing the outside world!! OMG!! 17 years in a morbid jail!! Now..let’s see what sentence the VICTIMS got! Hmmm…the victims got LIFE! Moron.

  21. “Not to mention the fact that the majority of people on death row down south are poor and of colour.”… boo hoo… perhaps it is because a higher proportion of poor black folks are killing other poor balck folks…

  22. Why give the fuck any mercy? He did not show any mercy to his victims! He should be in the hoosegow with just the basics–food, clothing, shelter, until he croaks. His victims cannot speak, so it’s up to us to let our “Injustice System” know we’re not going to tolerate “compassion” given to an asshole who took a life. He did the crime, let him do the time. Period!

  23. What really chaps my ass is how this particular cock sucker gets day passes to go pork his girlfriend.

Our justice system is FUK’D. Period.

  24. This post makes me want to go join this group… as well as call the OP a moron…

As for the convict, people like that should be kept in a box only big enough for them to remain in the fetal position… See how many killers we get then…

  25. I don’t understand why people are freaking out. After 17 years in the slammer one would hope the inmate, soon to be released (relative), would have some kind of exposure to the outside world. The idea is to “rehabilitate” and you simply can’t expect a person to know what’s going on on the “outside” or know how to function properly within it without exposure (or cash, as it so happens). The guy was NOT sentenced to death (much to your heinous disappointment) and that’s NOT going to change, group or no group… it had BETTER not change or we can’t trust the courts to do what they say. Can’t you see that?

L0GiC, you go have a look at the stats in US States that do support capital punishment and see if it makes even a small dent in violent crime in those same states. I think you’ll be disappointed.

Killing killers does not a good Canadian make. In fact, it makes the good Canadian a MURDERER and, with great respect for the families affected by this fuckwad, I think all your calls for “justice” are totally pathetic. If there was a problem with the sentence appeals could have been made 20 years ago but nobody has a problem until now? Well, too bad. Suck it up. Our courts shall not be compromised over HATE for a single criminal.

  26. I know I’d be disappointed Kay, but I must say that I didn’t post any statistically based argument, but a mere opinion.

To be honest, I wouldnt care if it detered them, although it would be nice, I would just be happy knowing they too are 6ft under. I should also say that the death penalty should only be used in cases where there is no room for error, ie: DNA evidence or something to that affect. Wrongful convictions are generally made when the cases were circumstantial and eyewitness testimony was the main method of conviction (often racially based)…

Again, I dont know why I’m bothering, nor why I even read your useless drivel…

  27. That makes two of us… Never has there been a case that gave a life sentence that didn’t satisfy the courts “beyond a reasonable doubt” so your argument for capital punishment fails. It doesn’t matter. We don’t do it.

  28. Hey Bro, you get to pick your friends. Choose wisely. It hardly matters which one or if all three move in next door. My Nova Scotian neighbors are hateful people anyway and I want nothing to do with any of them even without knowing their history. Once burned… you know the story. It’s a lesson in “mind your own business” and “do your own time.”
