Has our beloved Mayor EVER made a decision without the help of fucking consultants? Thank fuck they cancelled the rail-cut idea, by the time it was made a lot of the container companies would have fucked off to Melford and it would be yet another road to nowhere.

I don’t know what Peter Kelly’s opinion on putting a truck highway in the rail cut was– it was before I started covering city politics when the city of Halifax looked at it (mayber five years ago?). I do know, however, that the Halifax council rejected the idea as too costly.
The latest proposal came from premier Rodney MacDonald, not Peter Kelly. And the consultants eventually told MacDonald what all of us knew already– that it would cost a boatload of money.
Just to keep the record straight…
The Mayor make a decision? Surely you gest. He’s too busy being a concert promoter, with his fart licker, Dawn “Useful As Tits On A Bull” Sloane.
I am fucking embarrassed to have a tool like Peter Kelly represent this city. I hope he can’t be elected for another term.
