How do you keep blowin’ it on the pride guide?
Pride officially kicks off on Sunday the 21st. There are also several preliminary, yet relevant, side car events taking place as early as Thursday the 18th.
Why, then, has the pride guide been repeatedly issued with three days remaining to the celebration?
You have made a habit of carelessly excluding a great majority of the weeks festivities from a publication that most Haligonians, perhaps unjustly, look to for event information.
I’m not trying to make a mountain out of a molehill – there is a comprehensive list of pride events linked to the front page of the Coast website. However, there are many would-be pride goers who, despite not having time to huddle over a computer and intently monitor the weeks happenings, would be in attendance if they were aware of upcoming pride events which they will inevitably read about, in vain, next Thursday. —kt lamond

The pride guide was printed in this weeks edition of the Coast. The events began yesterday (when this weeks issues was released) and most events are listed right up to the parade next Saturday the 27th. There will be another issue of the coast before pride week is over.
Maybe your perception of time is skewed?? Did you think the parade was this weekend?
