So I get up this morning to this shit. Apparently blocking the plows was not dangerous because they only held up these vehicles for “ten minutes”. So not only are you playing terrorists, you’re playing completely ineffective terrorists. Or is it?

That 10 minutes means a few people are now out on the road before the road is safe during that 10 minute window caused by the delay. You either know this and realize the danger you’re inflicting on others or I’m overreacting which means you’ve essentially caused a lot of shit and terror that has no appreciable effect whatsoever. Which is a total waste of everyone’s time.

One thing’s for sure assholes. Pretty soon the snow will melt and the sun will shine. Just around the time you dumbasses run out of money. Then where will you be? At this point, you’ll have to take whatever the city offers and I promise it won’t be as sweet as it is now in the dark days. Mother nature (the wife of Darwinsim) is going to turn the tables on all you douchebags.

Halifax, hold out guys. Let these idiots stew for a couple more months to ensure they’re good and screwed. —Can’t Wait to See the Egg on Your Faces

  1. I do not rely on the bus … but have taken the people carrier on occasion ……. thankfully it was a mild February and people were able to get about (albeit limited) without the inclement weather that February normally brings.

Let’s wait this one out and have these fat-hemmorhoid-packing-dipwads struggle for another couple of months ……. and, if the reports are true that most of them are divorced then someone better be taking these losers to family court for those support payments ……. AND DO NOT let me hear that they are not able to make their support payments because they are not working ………CRAP …….. they chose not to accept the offers and now must live with the consequences of their own actions.

  2. OP, if I don’t totally disregard your point of view, will you agree that each and every driver is responsible to drive according to the road conditions?

  3. That explains the car landing on its roof near Exhibition Park and tying up traffic for 45 minutes yesterday morning – goddamn the fleabitten hides of those double donut-arsed greedbags – release the hounds.

  4. lol TTFN…You bring cussing someone out to a whole new level! It’s like poetry. I love it!

  5. Hope the council leaves them out for at least another 35 days and within the next week offer a 2 year contract and make sure they don’t have another election year strike.

  6. The sooner we the people gain control of our city, away from the communists and communistas, the better for everyone. All hail the new world order! lol.

Seriously though, I’m more than happy to keep these fools out for as long as they want. They could’ve stopped this any time they wanted to by agreeing to the city’s reasonable demands.

Their time to capitulate is now over however, and it’s going to have to be their commie friends at Province house who put an end to this, the city isn’t going to put an end to it – and rightly so – we’ve all called them and emailed them and told them not to budge.

It would be easier on these ATU fools if we were all just brainwashed by a conservative conspiracy – sadly for them this is not the case.

The issues are not difficult to comprehend, the citizens just don’t agree.

The entire city doesn’t agree. Indeed even other public sector union communists – afraid their reputations are being further tarnished by the ATU’s actions – don’t agree with this strike and how it has been handled.

The self-entitlement coming from the ATU – their superiority (or is that infereiority?) complex is just a sad spectacle to watch. And watch I do, as I am walking back and forth to work every day.

This is the citizens, ATU’s real employers, pulling the rug out from under them for their reprehensible actions, and now they’ll pay like the public has been paying since day one.

I really hope they are enjoying the fruits of their”labor”…

  7. people have driven for years, and even years back, when there was little to no plowing done. we are a strange bunch of animals. and let me be one other voice to say, yes, if someone died, because of this 10-15 stupid little pissy stunt, i would sincerely hope to fuck that you people, would either locked up, or fucking sued til your great grand kids, could finish paying it off.
doesn’t matter to folks anymore about your poor little pathetic lives, it’s now about the public safety.

  8. i don’t think mother nature is married…the *mother* part refers to the child being the earth, ya know. this does not invalidate, your other points teehee

  9. It’s funny how people use the word ‘terrorist’ as a catch all for things that are actually just annoying. That blockade sure terrorized the city! lol

  10. 10 minutes! Oh wow! Big deal… One winter the municipal workers in my home town went on strike (which included snow plow operators). The strike lasted more than 6 weeks during a winter which unfortunatly got more snow than usual. If you don’t believe me look it up, it was in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario in 2008.
    10 minutes? pfft!

  11. JESUS TITTYFUCKING CHRIST, TTFN. >: )
Now you have a fairly good idea of what the average sunday morning phone conversation with my Dad sounds like. Forget halfway down the davenport, I was smeared on the floor like so much time expired, high-fat peanut butter listening to that.

  12. i say, bravo to whomever is starting a new bus service in hrm, from sack. to downtown. 5 bucks is cheaper than a cab, or the gas you use in your car. and the really good fucking part, non union. and they are looking for recruits too. maybe wilson will now suck up his sorry ass, and fuck off. some union people infesting the horrid, all say this service might be dangerous, oh, how much more so than metro transhit? i support this co. 1,000 %, just hope they get wilson to stand in front of first bus leaving.
