Prepare your taxes using an online tool. Before you actually submit it, play around with some of the fields. Toggle your province of residence and see how it affects your taxes owing / refund owing. For myself, the difference between Nova Scotia and Ontario is $23 taxes owed in Nova Scotia and $2,100 refund in Ontario. Not to mention I make 20 percent less becuase I live in Nova Scotia. Maybe the McNeil Government can send out some sample sized lube packets next year when tax time comes around. It hurts. Sad thing is that no one seems to care. Harper had it right – bunch of defeatists. — Lube er up next time.

  1. LOLOL! Liar! No kiddies… this post is BS! There is NO WAY that a $23 amount owing here translates to a $2,100 refund – anywhere – even Ontario.

And no need for lube; spit works quite well and is free. It costs $2,077 in Toronto…

  2. I pay couple thousand more in taxes out here than I did in bc.

    it’s worth it to me.

mind you, I may have ended up with free room and ‘broad’ back in bc for life after I finally snapped on skytrain and went on a rampage.

    nah. it’s better out here.
