How ironic! I actually know who found your $40. A friend of mine always goes for a run downtown real, real early…he says he finds $5 or $10 every so often but this is the first time he found $40 and it made his day. I guess I’ll have to tell him about your bitch on here so he can come on and thank you personally.
And exactly what would you want that person to do? Announce he or she found money? talk about your stampede. Give it to the bartender or manager hoping they’ll return it? Unfortunately your los and someone elses gain. Take better care of your valuables.

I found a joint rolled up inside the $40, it not only made my night but paid for munchies too!
if you are that drunk or stupid to lose your money, then you should stay the hell home.
I never go to Cheers but I always check the ground in the line up when I pass. My best night I found $65. I just sidle up next to the cash and scoop it up then move along the line. I highly recommend it, check out the Toothy Moose lineup as well. Found $20 my last time passing and have not once set foot inside.
Holy shit, I know what I’ll be doing Friday and Saturday night! It’ll sure beat showing my tits to those guard dudes on Citadel Hill.

My mom dropped 80 bucks out of her pocket a few weeks ago. Dad had given it to her to get some flowers and stuff for the patio. She still talks about that and how dumb she was for not putting it in her wallet and taking her purse with her. But, she was sober and it was an honest mistake. Poor mom 🙁
She said that the people who found it probably needed it more than she did, which is such a typical thing for her to say. My mom’s the best.
So instead of whining about being drunk and losing your money (and obviously bitching at the person who found it), take some responsibility for being dumb enough not to secure your cash when you knew you were drinking. If my poor mom can take responsibility for losing her dough (while sober), I’m pretty sure you can too, OP 😉
