Ok people, I’m sick and tired of seeing people getting stopped by Our glorious Halifax Police Department at the Mackay bridge tolls. Those cops are there “EVERY DAMN DAY”… & they’ve been setting up speed traps there for over a year now. It’s a gold mine for the HRP. You”d THINK by now everyone would know that they are there just waiting to put a dent in that fat wallet of yours. Slow the fuck down when going to Halifax off the 111/ MacKay Bridge approach! I hate to see people getting stopped there when it’s a well know speed trap… —Some helpful advice for my Halifax peeps!

when you speed, you break a law, hence being stopped and ticketed.if you travel the bridges, then you should be aware of the limit. unless you are some self centered fucking asshole.
Everyone in the know knows that’s a known speed trap, don’t you know. It is a bit silly though. Sure, the “law is the law, don’t speed and you won’t get a ticket, blah blah blah,” but I agree that 50 km/hour is way too slow for there, especially coming downhill off the highway. Puts a lot of strain on your brakes.
Why not just lower the limit to 30 km/hour? Hey, the law is the law!
Don’t speed. I’ve never got a ticket there, I must be doing something right.
I almost got caught…..but when the police officer saw my plate on the front (Colorado) she just said “Watch your speed, and enjoy your visit in Nova Scotia.” Stupid bitch didn’t realize I’m Nova Scotian….if she would have checked the rear plate she’d have known and would have had an easy ticket.
Leave them be, I’m all for the HRP making money off of stupid people. More money for policing is always a good thing as long as it’s spent properly, but that’s another genre of bitches.
hmmmm…. I’m totally NOT on the lookout to egg the NS plated car with a Colorado plate on it’s front now. really… I’m not.
what about radar controlled do people not understand? I mean, I hover around the limit and AWALYS get passed… every single time.
“Puts a lot of strain on your brakes.” LMAO!!! Next time q , try applying brakes when the sign tells you the speed is changing. You may not find it such a “strain on your brakes”. LOL
Hey man, it’s still a strain and tricky to slow down that much coming down a hill! Not everyone drives nice new big fancy SUVs with Colorado plates on the front and Nova Scotia plates on the back. And sebastian_, shouldn’t you have reported yourself to 911?
And now that we all know what zZz looks like, thanks to “The Coast” dating website (you sexy sexy beast of a man), and we know what automobile Sebastien_ drives, I say it’s time for a LTWWB showdown! You’ll have to livestream the events to me here in Deadmonton.
Coming soon to HBO – Vincent Donofrio in “zZz – Portrait of a Poet” (Ooooh Portrait – sounds classy)
Vincent Donofrio…I call him the “cockroach guy” because the first time I saw him he was playing that gross bug alien in Men in Black.
I still drive with another province’s plate in the front, so when people see me do something wrong on the road, they would perhaps forgive me for being new to the Halifax maze.
Oh the original post reminds me, I was driving downtown and there is this road that goes up towards Cogswell from Barrington, and it is an uphill road, it curves, and then right at the top of the hill is a big intersection and traffic light. I didn’t know this because it was my first time driving that way, and I was driving 50km/h up the hill, and I almost had a heart attack when I saw the red light. I am so glad there was no car behind me, because I slammed on my break real hard. I wish this city would put up a few more signs in places like that warning people stop signs/traffic lights coming up.
Yup zZz’s single’s pic sorta reminds me of Donofrio. I’m always trying to match real peeps up with celebs.I myself resemble Ton Clancy but only with my flight jacket, Nimitz Ball Cap and shades on.
