I moved away for awhile to see if there were bigger better things, only to realize that Halifax is the only place I’d ever want to live. Every day I walk the streets of Halifax, I feel part of a living breathing community; a diverse and unique compilation of individuals, cultures and subcultures. We are so isolated from the rest of Canada, yet our music scene is amazing! Our local producers are celebrated and there is green space everywhere. The richness of our history is reflected in the character of our town. To all the awesome Haligonians who love and make this city: thank you! It’s so good to be back. —It’s Already Winter in Calgary.

I moved from Halifax to Calgary earlier this year and was just about to post pretty much the same Love. I hope we learn to love Calgary as much as we love the beautiful coast. Stay warm, okay? 🙂
