When I was a teenager and in my early twenties, I started carrying a purse, but it was so foreign to me that when I went to restaurant, I’d put it on the chair back and then leave without it! I probably did this a dozen times.
Every single time, I went back to the restaurant (sometimes an hour or three hours later when I remembered with a panic what I’d done) and they always had my purse for me, untouched, nothing stolen, even though my Palm Pilot (back in the day when it was worth $500) was always there. I was forgetful as hell. It still makes me feel good that no one took anything.
Sometimes when I read these “LOVE THE WAY WE LOVE”, I feel good, but also sad that people think these good deeds are the exception, when I actually think they are the rule, if we take the time to notice. This is not directed at the OP. The OP just sparked something in me that made me think.
I tend to like ranting and the idea of writing a bitch, so I can see why that section is more popular, but it doesn’t really reflect life. IMHO.
