Love is the single most important thing on this earth. You can have all the money in the world, 84 designer bags in your closet, five foreign cars in your driveway, and see the most exotic places in the world, and still feel lonely. Trust me, I’ve been there. I thought money could solve everything. Logically, how can it not? But money can’t give you the feeling of being in love. If you don’t have anyone to share all your riches with, is it even worthwhile? These are questions I have been asking myself lately. I have a crazy love for money, but having it doesn’t mean anything if you only spend it on yourself. What is more important to you – love or money? I hope each one of you is able to find love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can’t-live-without-each-other love. Never be envious of another’s riches. Their life may look amazing from afar, but they might be hurting inside. Think about it. —Me, Myself and All My Millions

  1. yep, I’m sure all those poor, homeless people with (or without kids) feel the same way…
so what if they’re sleeping on cold concrete, eating their 1 square meal a day..
they have each other…. to swap the bottle of mouthwash with.

I can honestly say… and I’m sure the majority of you can agree…
that I’ve spent WAY more sleepless nights worrying about money than I did worrying about anything to do with love.

lovy, sappy feelings n shit… not even close to a distant second in the scheme of things.
stop listening to rihanna and katy perry and all that bullshit…

  2. Well, as Weird Al says – “You’re dead for a real long time. You just can’t prevent it. So if money can’t buy happiness, I guess I’ll have to rent it.”

If you want to feel better about yourself, try some charity work.

  3. Fuck you, OB. You make it sound like love is some entitlement.

Not everyone is or has or will experience being in love and who the fuck are you to say that their lives are incomplete or less worthwhile because they’re not in love?

You sound like some dumb bitch who’s just hooked up with a new guy and you’re in the “OMG I’M SO IN LOVE I CAN’T BREATHE WITHOUT YOU OMGOMGOMG”-vomiting inducing stage of your relationship.

    What hugo and zed said.

  4. … well me and my boyfriend are very much so in love. this does not make our world perfectly happy. the stress of financial situations puts pressure and causes us to fight. you are making love sound like a movie. we come out say it and live happily ever after. thats not it at all. if that were the case the world would be a lot happier. even if you find that crazy head over heels love money still plays a part.

  5. “What is more important to you – love or money?”

Neither … I choose happiness … love and money may impact happiness, but the degree to which that happens depends on the person and their outlook. Right now I don’t have love and I don’t have money … but, most of the time, I am happy.
