Get off teh interwebs and go for a run!
It’s worth it long term. Hold Fast, Brother. Hold Fast.
It’s worth it when you look in the mirror, and like what you see.
Otherwise, it blows hairy donkey balls.
That it does.
Very true. I’ve been slowly working off my beer belly, and that’s about as tough as it gets. Healthy eating sucks, stationary bikes suck.
Although what I did find that helped me significantly was cutting back on sugar. Pop specifically. That means no “diet” pop either. I dropped 10 pounds alone because of that.
Yup. I’m a type 2, adult onset sugar boy, drank 2 liters of coke per day well into my forties and then the hammer dropped and I haven’t touched the stuff in 7 years. I’m probably in better health now than the last 20 years( not bragging, just gobsmacked) I don’t do gyms and broccoli will never replace steaks & chops but I do know that a peppermint mocha frappuchino has to be paid for with a forced march around Lake Banook.
Not easy, not fun but doable.
At least the OP is doing something about their weight. Others in this city are grossly obese and flappy, those are the people that I don’t want to see shirtless at the beach. Keep it up OP.
Parents who have obese children should be charged with child abuse!
The results will be worth all the hard work OP. You can do it!
Hang in there, you’re not alone! I’ve lost 56lbs so far, and all the blood, sweat and tears have been worth it.
It’s a great day at Goodlife! 😀
it doesn’t HAVE to suck… and when it does is when it usually doesn’t last.
Adapt a bit… try different things that you can stick with and *gasp* enjoy!
you’ll feel better without all that crap in your system but it doesn’t take a couple weeks to stop missing it I’ve found.
graze all day… you will learn to like it….
Personally, I’ve got 5 small meals a day thus far and am just under a week out from incorporating a 6th.
Beach season is upon us…
yea don’t go on some pycho diet where you’re bound to fail; just modify some shit and get off your ass as much as possible
Yay beach season…. only 5 more pounds to lose for me! You can do it! It’s all about lifestyle change too, that’s the tough part but once you get it, it’ll stick for life. At one point in my life I made some basic changes (no more fastfood, reduce sugar, salt, smaller portions but snacking healthy often, began running) and I dropped over 20 lbs. Of course, I still get winter weight, I think that’s normal and being extra active in the summer helps for the beach bod. Plus you get a killer tan hiking/walking/biking/running/golfing… so hey, being healthy is all around great. 🙂 Woot!
Eat breakfast, a light supper and move more. I’ve dropped at least 15lbs since I’ve been away (which has only been 3.5 weeks so far) because I’m up early and eating, I’m not eating a heavy supper meal and I walk EVERYWHERE (1.5kms in the morning to class and 1.5 back, then another 2 to the grocery store/mall and back). It all adds up.
so, people are fat, big deal. if it bothers some too much, then don’t fucking look or make snide comments. if it’s you that is fat, don’t sweat it, you are, who you are.
It’s not just fatties with self-image problems. I’ve always been skinny and lanky and want some proper man-muscles. I’m working on getting more toned, soon to be FUCKING HUGE, baby!
Pretty Kitty…why do you want them to move me ?
I like it where I am , I have no intention of moving ~;)
but lugging around all those boxes would be good exercise…
you’d be helping people out..
oh wait, forgot who I was referring to.
The people hating more in his city of solitude….
I’m down 22lbs since xmas and all I did was cut back on junk food, sugar and caffeine. Losing weight doesn’t have to suck, but trying to lose it quickly with unreasonable expectations does.
I read a great tip yesterday, well great for me because I have a huge sweet tooth and a chocolate/ice cream obsession. Allow yourself one day a week, say Sunday, to have an ice cream sundae or slice of chocolate erruption cheesecake, that way when you have a craving you can tell yourself that you will get your fix on that day…..com’mon Sunday!
speaking of losing weight fast anyone see 2 x 25 cents? apparently he did it for a movie
oh great… is he teaming up with steven segall in another horrible rapper/old action crapfest?
actually, ya know what? don’t even bother answer.
I really don’t want to know.
he can’t be nearly as bad as bale was in the machinist compared to… well how a human actually looks.
I want to see Fiddy endorsing the Hip-Hop-Subculture-Took 11 Bullets and Lost the Use of my Lower Limbs-Colostomy Bag- Weight-Loss Plan.
don’t know zZz man, don’t cur…just another funny lookin weirdo to me. good one ivan
I go to the gym every day, i walk just about everywhere, and i watch my calories. Down 55lbs from my heaviest.
RAWR – Wait a damn second! let me get this straight….all you did was exercise daily and eat a proper diet and you lost weight?
GENIUS !
true… yet if it were only that easy for some.
many have fallen to the armchair olympics.
