To the herds of people who get off the 185 and 159 at Scotia Square every morning: Please take a brief second to LOOK UP when you’re all rushing up the stairs into the mall. Every freaking morning when I am leaving (and thus heading down the stairs) I have to try and dodge people who are completely unaware of their surroundings.
An alternative suggestion (if looking up is just too darn difficult), would be simply sticking to the RIGHT rather than using the ENTIRE width of the stairs. Yes, I know it’s early and you probably haven’t had coffee yet, and wherever you’re headed is incredibly important, but one of these days I am going to stop going out of my way to avoid collision and just start hip-checking and throwing ‘bows. —Losing Patience

it’s easier to be on the top, and push down, o.p., but if you are a pussy???
don’t want to get shoved out of the way, stay to the side, give those an elbow, if they get too close. or watch where you are going instead of texting your fucking weak little existance away, and not paying attention.
OP…You already have gravity on your side.
Take a tumble…report back to us how many ‘dominoes’ you managed to take to the bottom of the steps with you ~:)

OP, come on….what do you expect from people who use public transit. They don’t have brains in the first place. They’re like cattle and about the same size.
Jeebuz, I hate it when he’s right. Grrrrr.

Same happens if you’re going to Halifax on the Woodside ferry when all the commuters are coming home on said ferry- if I get to the door of the terminal after the ferry’s already docked I can pretty much guarantee myself that I can’t get through all the assholes taking up the whole staircase who aren’t looking where they’re going, and I am going to miss the boat.
but did you stop at arby’s before headed to the terminal?
inquiring mind[s] want to know….
