You rode a bike the day after the big ole snow-dump, thaw and freeze event that happened earlier this week. The roads were completely covered in ice. Not just patches, but complete skating rinks.
You made the turn from Oxford to Inglis and you went tits up in the snow bank and a car almost hit you (you were also riding in traffic which would have been fine in suitable weather).
You then got up and looked at the driver of the car with this look of bewilderment and stupididty, as if she did something wrong.
You did something wrong – you rode a bike on a skating rink with no helmet. You also provided me a good laugh, becuase all you can do when someone is the victim of their own stupidity is laugh. —LOLly

Not wearing a helmet contributed to the accident? That’s new.
the look of bewilderment and stupidity is standard for non helmet wearing fucking morons.
I love how people freak out over the foam hat thing.
“Did you get in an accident? well were you wearing your foam hat? no? then it’s your own fault you stupid moronic risk taker.”
Bicycling isnt as dangerous as you think it is.
Schadenfreude .. look it up, your pic is beside the definition. Grow up.
I’d like some road pizza, extra crunchy… hold the helmet.
Foam hat causes accident: film at 11.

A slight typo there. Replace FALL with FAIL.
Time to put the training wheels on your bicycle to give better balance on ice and snow.
One might suggest that given the road conditions, you would stay well behind another vehicle (bikes are considered vehicles, under NS law), so as to avoid any possible collisions.
And most people would have some sort of look on their face after nearly being hit by a car. How you extrapolate a look of bewilderment into stupidity on the driver’s part fails me.
And why you think someone being struck by a vehicle is somehow funny seems sociopathic, no?
Ummm, Oxford Street ends at South Street so impossible to turn onto Inglis. Really? Look at a street map!
They sell studded tires for bicycles, you can get several years of use from the same set and they cost about $60 each. My advice is to spend big, and find somewhere else to save money.
“Ummm, Oxford Street ends at South Street so impossible to turn onto Inglis.”
Thats as silly as the OB’s comment about the helmet. Same street different name, but SAME street.
Same street? Different name? Try saying that to someone on NOVALEA!
LOL, would love to use that argument with the assessment office ….. but really we are Oxford Street so it shouldn’t be THAT high! FFS, it is a different street hence the different NAMES.
I live off a secondary highway out here in the boonies, that everyone out here knows by a street name, that isn’t posted anywhere .
Instantly lets you know if someone lives on it, or is a local ,when you tell them where you live.
Made me smile at xmas, whenI hit a D D mountie blockade , & the Mountie asked where I was off to & I named the street. “& where’s that at ” he asks … “officer you are standing in the middle of it” … lol
^^^Fucking ass-hat cops! LOLOL!^^^
lmao this post gave me a laugh..
lol @ “tits up in the snow bank’ HAHAHAHHA all i think of is a pair of titties flyin up in the air hahaha
Koda- You do you realize Novalea Drive was Gottingen Street until the late 70’s. Residents of the hydro stone petitioned the city for the name change to disassociate themselves from the rest of the street. Guess it has a bad reputation….?
So good example of another STREET with two names.
