Im not naming names due to the Coast’s rules on that, so I wont. A Local television station has had a long standing run of showing “The Simpsons” EVERY weekday at 5PM, its been like this for years and years, we cant depend on anything in this world but we can depend on the Simpsons at supper time. Today I turn it on and what do I see? Just for Laughs (makes me) Gag(s) WHAT THE FUCK? Ever since I was a kid, 5pm is prime Simpsons time, I mean, mabye it would be forgivable if you replaced it with some other GOOD show, but, Just for laughs Gags? Seriously? Why? Why would you do this? You have let me and I’m sure many other viewers down. I dont care if I’ve seen every episode of The Simpsons 50 times each, I want to watch it at 5:00 like I always have. Thanks for nothing 🙁

I am getting sick of the Simpsons but yes I have to agree, Just For Laughs is brutal.
That sucks…I LOVE the Simpson’s but at least they replaced it with another comedy show!
I haven’t been able to watch The Simpsons at 5 since my shift change back in 2000. Those were good times.

WHAT?!??! Simpsons at 5 has been moved? How could they do such a thing, it’s been like that for at least 15 years… remember the days when it was Fresh Prince and Simpsons back to back? Those were the days…
Here’s a tip, shell out 100 bucks to get seasons 5 to 9 and you’ve got the golden era stuff and no need to worry about the shit they’ve produced over the past 10 years.

It’s not like you can’t see it the other 20-50 times it’s on. Not only on the station in question but many other stations.
I’ve got seasons 1 thru 12 on DVD. Wish they would come out a lot quicker with the rest of them on DVD.
I’m so old, I can remember when it used to be Three’s Company at 5, then when that run ended it was the Golden Girls. Great TV for supper but all runs must come to an end. Frankly, with all the channels out there, so many classic shows have been overplayed. They do have to come up with something better than Just For Laughs though. Bring back WKRP maybe?

And I’m pretty sure people’s court with judge whopner (whopner/whapner?) was on after Three’s Company…I think I was like 5 when that was on in syndication…I remember asking my mom what “gay” meant and she said “it means happy, hon” and when I watched the show that just didn’t make sense 😛
I think before TFP and Simpsons they had the Wonder Years on for a while…
I watched Fantasy Island the other night….hadn’t seen that for over 20 years….wow…I still want to go to Fantasy Island!

I find that the simpsons is on enough throughout the day and night that I can get my fix any time I want, especially now that I have cable service from the company that starts with A, not E. It will be missed in that spot though….
