Just wanted to say thanks to all the people that are supporting (M.T. local 508) in the fight to keep our rights intact. Especially the two pretty ladies in the black minivan who brought us coffee and timbits, and the hotel (D.H.) that brought us H.C. —Local 508 Scotia Square location

If I knew what DH stood for I’d be boycotting that hotel. For now I guess I’ll boycott hot chocolate, timbits and pretty ladies in minivans.

That is exactly tyhe one. I was walking out of S.S after work and there they all are. All smiles with their strike and support signs on their chest happily drinking coffee and joking around with everyone.
DH means Delta Halifax – it has to, that’s right across from Scotia Square.
There are humans standing outside because of a pissing contest between two parties. Noone is forcing you to provide anything to the picketers, but if you’re bitching at those who do, you’re pathetic. If you’re threatening those who do, you have no soul.
I highly doubt those out picketing want to be there any more than any one of us wants them to be. No one WANTS to be on strike living off strike pay.
I can guarantee most of the drivers out there would much rather be behind the wheel and on the road.
